Eyes Forward: Lens Testing Underway in Ukraine
Equipping Those Who Serve Others in Crisis
We’re proud to share a first look at ballistic-grade lenses now being tested in Ukraine, thanks to our partner Eye Care for Ukraine and trusted collaborators on the ground.
In this video, you’ll see early feedback being gathered from a local tester helping assess functionality and fit across several lens models. These are the first BBH-provided lenses to reach Ukrainian soil and part of our effort to protect the eyes of medics, first responders, and volunteers operating in harm’s way.
This exchange of field testing, real-time feedback, and rapid iteration is exactly how we move forward. It’s proof that the pipeline is working. And it’s one more step toward our broader mission: ensuring that those who serve others in crisis can see clearly, safely, and without compromise.
This testing builds on groundwork already laid—a formal MOU and recent outreach in Washington—and signals the next phase of action. The pipeline is active. The partnerships are real. And thanks to your support, BBH is moving quickly to protect those who serve on the front lines.
